I am beyond grateful for all the opportunities that this game has given me, and I am excited to share and continue my journey through training

About Matt

Basketball has been nothing but a blessing for my life. Coming from a small town, playing basketball as a profession is only but a dream for so many people. My journey started when my father put a ball in my hands at 4 years old. Along the way there were many influential coaches, trainers, and mentors that helped me teach the skills and build the proper character to be the best player and person I could be.

In high school, I was honored to be selected as an Ohio All-State player. I also led my team to a state championship. After High School, I was able to gain a NCAA D1 basketball scholarship to play at Purdue University - Fort Wayne. There I spent two amazing years learning the game and many valuable life lessons which began shaping my character into what it is today. After my time at Purdue-FW, I transferred to an NCAA D2 powerhouse, Nova Southeastern University.  NSU wasn’t the perfect fit for me, but I still found ways to learn and develop as a player and to contribute to the team. I made the tough decision to move on to Concord University. At CU I continued my career to further develop as a player and a person. I was able to flourish both on and off the court, building relationships that will last forever. After my last year of college eligibility, I was able to make my lifelong dream a reality. I signed my first professional basketball contract to play for a Luxembourg National team.

Basketball has given me many opportunities and blessings in my life that I am grateful for including not only the accolades, awards, championships, scholarships, and to play professionally, but it has also provided me with lifelong relationships. I am so thankful for the many people in my life who taught me life lessons and games skills. I now have the privilege and opportunity to share those lessons with the next generation of players is my passion to help people grow in their love for Basketball. I do this in hopes one day they can have an impact on someone’s life, just as those who have taught me the game have had on mine. Helping people realize their full potential is what I strive to do and teach them the required skills to achieve that. My mission is bigger than basketball. My passion is to partner with young players mentoring them to not only become better basketball players, but I also want to mentor them on how to be better people by applying the life skills learned playing this great sport.
